THE CANADA IS GREAT  PROJECT

COAST TO COAST TO COAST.

Culture.

Architecture.

Conversations.
This trip began with the opportunity to apply for an award offered at McMaster University.

Korry was a recipient of the 2016 Drs Jolie Ringash and Glen Bandiera Renaissance Award, a scholarship offered to students to pursue something outside of their normal field of study. This award has been the primary motivation for this adventure, and provided the means for Korry and Kristel to complete this journey across the country. For more information about this award, please visit:

Korry and Kristel travelled from the Northwest Territories to Newfoundland, exploring and talking to the great people who call this country home. They interviewed locals and travellers   about their culture and their communities and their lifestyles.  They collected important  stories and are  going to help tell these stories in a documentary film.
Our mission is to connect parts of Canada that are often left out of conversations about culture and architecture, and show the world through documentary film.
